Taino Treasure Trail
The Taino Treasure Trail takes place in the beautiful El Yunque National Rain Forest in Puerto Rico. Team Members set forth in search of the wondrous facts and exercises found in our beautiful Rain Forest system. Armed with a Polaroid Camera, teams will take a photo and prove that they have found the points of interest on their maps or describe the location.
Teams will go by foot through the rough-cut trails. Each trail will lead them to new and interesting plant or animal life facts found in the EL Yunque Rainforest. Other trails will lead them to exciting and dynamic team exercises. Teams are challenged with the following exercises:
- The Great Water Reeds
- The Thrill of the River Crossing
- The Fearless Firewalk.
Some of the exercises or points of interest are within the reach of each participant, while others may have to work a little harder to discover the location of the treasure.
Each team is given two hours to earn as many points as possible. The team with the most points winthe Taino Treasure Trail Challenge. Teams must work on a cohesive plan and utilize the strengths of each participant in order to achieve success. The event is 'challenge by choice', and each participant is given the opportunity to decide how they would like to participate in the two hours.
